Boston Franklin Place May 2 1798Dear SirI am seriously apprehensive that the frequency of my application to you, will at length exhaust that kindness by which I have been so essentially advantaged - but I know not to whom else to address myself - Although I have this day written to you by post under cover to Mr Thatcher, [undecipherable] that the schooner Sally - Captain Gage Commander - will [undecipherable] with the first favourable wind for your City - I take care to apprize you that I have sent on board a box for my Brother, addressed to your care - you will have the goodness to attend to this box, and send it on to Cincinnati by the first safe conveyance - and if you can find a moments leisure to advertize me of its arrival, and the day on which it com-mences its journey over the mountains, you will add essentially to my debt of gratitude - I am fearful the box may be broke, and its contents injured, if not lost in the conveyance over such a rough road - but I have no doubt that you [undecipherable] give the proper directions I trust that you have received the volumes
