Summary Williams has at last received from the southard the two thousand dollars in post notes on account of the Armory. He expresses his anxiety at the length of time they took to arrive and wrote several letters to Hodgdon on that subject. He hopes to see Hodgdon in Springfield soon since, without his presence, little or nothing can be done.
