Philadelphia 10th July 1798
I have this moment received your letter of the 9t inst. your conclusions relative to the Kentledge is just, I wish it to be sent to this place as it comes to and opportunities present I hope and expect you will be able to get it transported at a rate not exceeding three Dollars a ton--as we have no immediate call for it, you will have it in your power to control the price of the freight. I meant mine of the 3rd to convey the information you required relative to receiving the Kentledge this will determine its destination.
