Summary Since Henry Abeel is returning to his own country, Pickering wants him decently equipped with a horse, saddle, and bridle. The horse should be one of the hardiest on hand and well shod. When the horse is selected, the saddle should be fitted exactly to the horse with the proper amount of stuffing.
