Summary Lieutenant Monvel has been appointed to prove the cannon casting at Hughes's Furnace at Mount Pleasant, Maryland. To do so, he will need cannon powder and iron balls for 32-pounders and 24-pounders. He will go by water to Christiana Bridge and from there he will travel by land carriage. Hodgdon must provide his transportation and the articles he will need to accomplish his business.
