| Transcription | I received N 29 & 30. Each is [illegible]. [Illegible] obtaining proper evidences [ill.] that recruiting [ill.] are of a very interesting nature. I wish you therefore to commit in writing [ill.]you may leave with persons who [ill.]. That may throw day light upon it--[ill.]and enable [ill.] to obtain proper affadavits from officers--I was much obliged for the trouble you have already given yourself. I think more can be obtained from [ill.] [Ill.} you leave the forms of my register Book of certificates issued [ill.] make out a register of the certificates to be issued. (Ill.] you can at the same time furnish me with [ill.] current of the regiment, which you [ill.]enable me to [ill.] Mr. Hodgdon ought to be careful how he issues stores to the [ill.] officers of this Army as most of [ill.]closed.
